In the middle of listening to Reno talk about the help he gives the local cops, Emil suggests that eventually he try to get a job as one himself, when his paperwork is straightened out. He doesn't push it, but he does think it would fit, especially given both Reno's respect for it, and for his prior profession, such as it was.

Walking with their fingers linked loose and casual is easy. It feels good. Emil lets it be as it is, looking back at Reno with a soft smirk.

"I can't say I'm surprised. I'll bet it suits you, pretty or not."
