The problem is that it's not so much Reno's actions that make him uncomfortable, it's the restraint, the sting in every word when all he really wants is to curl up with the man skin to skin and maybe spend a few minutes very quietly crying. He takes a long swig of his bear to try and help him ignore the dull ache settled behind his sternum, eyes down on his hand resting there on the tabletop.

No obligations to anyone else." He looks back up at Reno with his normal smile back in place, reaching across the table and gripping the other man's forearm. "And I really want to help, however I can. Just say the word."
